Afriquia, Maroc Telecom and OCP,partners ofthe Rallye du Maroc


Afriquia SMDC, Maroc Telecom and OCP,partners ofthe Rallye du MarocDirection south of the Atlas,to the desert and dunes of the region of Errachidia,where from 3 to 9 October the Rallye du Maroc, the last round of the Cross-Country Rallies World Cup for cars and Cross-Country Rallies World Championship for bikes,will be held.


In addition to a large number of professionals, the Rallye du Maroc also welcomes an Amateurcategory where the adepts of high-levelsport, from a range of backgrounds, come to discover a country and challenge themselves in itsnature.

This event benefits from the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the joint support of Afriquia SMDC, filial of the AKWA Group, Groupe Maroc Telecom and Groupe OCP.

In addition to thegoal of nurturing Moroccan and African participants in the discipline of rally-raid and allowingthem access to world level competition, the partnership with the 3 Moroccan companieshas the ambitionof showcasing Morocco internationally, so asto have a real economic and social impact, notably in the regions visited.

With the support of these 3 majorcompanies, the Rallye du Maroc promises to show off to the world this fabulous country and contribute to its social and economic dynamic by undertaking to spend the majority of its budgetin Morocco and supporting the populationsof the regions they visit with targeted social actions: construction of wells, social support for women, firefighting equipment, entertainment in stage towns…

The Rallye du Maroc isalso the promise of a Clean Rally which works for the respect and protection of the environment: by reducing to a minimum thecarbon footprint of a motorsport competition,with the objective of obtaining ISO14001 certification. For the 2019 edition,2000 palm trees have already been planted following the fires that destroyed a part of the Aoufous palm grove.
