Formula E: Stephane Sarrazin and Maro Engel in Argentina

– After a 13-week break, it’s finally back to racing in the Formula E Championship
– Demanding street circuit in Argentina’s capitol, Buenos Aires, to stage the third round of the season
– Details of Stephane Sarrazin’s and Maro Engel’s electric racers have been enhanced

This weekend, the Formula E Championship is going to contest its third race meeting in the 2016/2017 season and the first in 2017. Quite a while after the first two rounds held in autumn 2016, the innovative race series for electric single-seaters now will make its next stop: in Argentina’s capitol Buenos Aires.

In the race at the 2.48-kilometre street circuit, the Venturi GP Formula E Team colours will be represented by Frenchman Stephane Sarrazin and Germany’s Maro Engel.

“In the past two years we proved to be really competitive in Buenos Aires,” said Gildo Pallanca Pastor, the owner of the Venturi GP Formula E Team. “In 2016 Stephane set the fastest qualifying lap and finished fourth in the race. It goes without saying that that we would love to repeat this performance, this year.” The foundation for a good performance in this year’s E Prix at Buenos Aires was laid in the technical area during the 13-week break. We worked on enhancing many small details of our Formula E racer,” revealed Franck Baldet, the team’s Technical Director. “To get into the Top 10 with both cars is our first goal for the weekend.”
