Today’s seventh stage represents the end of the first week of the 2016 Dakar. On the way from Uyuni, Bolivia to Salta, Argentina, the drivers had to cover more than 800 kilometres, including a 481-kilometre special stage.
And Nasser Al-Attiyah (QAT) / Mathieu Baumel (FRA) succeeded in splitting the leading Peugeot trio. “It was a good day without any problems but we just haven’t got the pace it takes to match the Peugeots.
