Baja Ha’il XTrêm+: Jeremie Warnia and Loic Minaudier first in the T4, 7th of the general

Together with Michele Cinotto and Maurizio Dominella, 3rd n the T4, the two Xtremeplus crews stepped on the 1st and 3rd places of the provisional podium

The three Xtremeplus crews tackled this morning the first stage of the Baja Ha’il, first round of the FIA world Cup for Bajas. On the menu 230 km on sandy paths and little dunes. The special stage offered also some fast roads and above all a tricky navigation with many changes of directions, requiring the navigators a full attention.

It was a perfect stage for Jeremie Warnia and Loic Minaudier. The French duo put the Polaris Pro R in the first spot of the T4 category and P7 of the overall. A result that marks a milestone for Polaris.

If Jeremie finished first of the category, Michele Cinotto and Maurizio Dominella finished 3rd in the T4 and 12th overall. A technical issue slowed down Luis Henderson and Juan Carlos Carignani who finished 7th in the T4, P21 overall

« I’m really happy of today’s result. This is my first race since the 2020 Dakar, and I was a little bit nervous. We pushed a lot to make a perfect stage, remaining within the limits », said Jeremie Warnia, « it was tricky for us because we started in P4. We managed to check all the waypoints and then the machine made the rest. The Polaris was very comfortable. »

« It was a technical stage with a lot of navigation that required to be full concentration », commented Loic Minaudier, « despite that, we were able to keep a good pace without any issues. I am really happy. We have found a very good understanding with Jeremie (Warnia) and this makes everything easier. »

« It was a smooth day. Our Polaris Pro worked really well and we enjoyed the stage », said Michele Cinotto, « we only had a small issue with the navigation but all in all, we are satisfied with our result: third in the T4 and 12th overall. »

« We have mixed feelings about today because we had a technical issue when we had only 7 kilometers to the finish of the stage, so it changed a bit the mood of the say », said Luis Henderson.
