QATAR Cross-Country RALLY will be the opening round of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies. The event will take place in Lusail Sports Arena, Al Wusail,
Qatar offer varied desert terrain of soft sand, of dunes, of hard and rocky terrain all provide suitable challenges for competitors over the five hard days of competition.

Monday, 24 – Leg 2 – total 495,28 km.
Tuesday, 25 – Leg 3 – total 469,83 km.
Wednesday, 26 – Leg 4 – total 543,59 km
Thursday, 27 – Leg 5 – total 377,22 km.
Kahalid Al-Mohannadi (#211), originally from Qatar and expert pilot will team up with experienced French navigator Sebastien Delaunay in a Polaris RZR 1000 Turbo.
Al-Mohannadi said: « I have experience in the topography of Qatar and its regions, and I know it well despite the difficulty of navigation. I have an expert navigator in Sebastien, who has previous experience in desert rallies. He has previously participated in Baja Dubai with me and we achieved third place in the T3 category. »
Sebastian Guayasamin (#215), from Ecuador, he has participated in six editions of the Dakar Rally and has finished three. He will make his debut in the Fia Cross Country Rally Championship Cup with Ricardo Torlaschi, who has participated in 10 editions of the Dakar Rally.
Sebastian Guayasamin said: « In 2011 I participated in the Baja Manabí and in 2012 the Rally de Los Andes that toured Venezuela, Colombia and ended in Ecuador. These are the two great experiences I have in these UTV cars. »
Marco Piana , team manager of polaris Xtremeplus factory is confident: « We know that qatar is very difficult on navigation , but also demanding a lot for the machine and tires.
