Primosten – Less then 9 days to the start of the sixth edition of the Croatia Rally Sunday 20 May with the traditional prologue traced among the vineyards few away from Primosten.
The race, from 20 to May 26, organized by TRX The Raid Experience, this year contains a lot of surprises and news and Marco Borsi is checking again, in these days, the road book and facing his last recognitions of the track.
76 the riders of this sixth edition coming from eight different Nations: Italy, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Slovakia, Holland, Sweden.
1300 the kilometers that the riders will find in four stages, inclusive the prologue, because as always the Croatia Rally foresees two tappes Monday and Tuesday, one day of rest the Wednesday, and again two days of competition Thursday and Friday. Open as always to motorbikes, quads and Utv, the Croatia rally after the first special test of Sunday afternoon, Monday will bring the participants in the region of Drnis and Knin.
The true surprises will arrive Tuesday for the second one : Marco Borsi in fact, has totally set an unpublished track that he will develop in good part in Bosnia, with departure and arrival in the city of Sinj. The riders will freely depart from Primosten, knowing only that to a certain hour they must be to Sinj for the start of the stage.
It is actually in Bosnia, under a leaden sky, that Borsi is checking everything of the track, corners, intersections and the most impervious passages of a competition that also this year will propose great emotions and a difficult road book, with a binding navigation that doesn’t leave time to the distractions, on the special stages as during the transfer.
The third stage will be one of the classic of Croatia Rally, drawing in the Gracac region, ma the fourth one will be another nice surprise. After the first encounter, some days ago, during the Krka Discovery 2018, Borsi and the TRX return on the Brac island, or better, the beautiful Brac island. Also in this case we tell of an unpublished stage that the participants will be know after a transfer in ferry of 45 minutes with departure from Split. Once disembarked, the riders will start from the city of Supetar and they will race the two last special tests of the sixth edition of the rally.
But the news don’t end here: in this case however we speak of classifications. The new system used with satisfaction during the Krka Enduro Raid will also be proposed on the Croatia Rally. The TRXRAID Ranking System will allow the participants to read directly the results on the proper smartphone as the already known Krka Trakking system by RDS, will allow to follow live the race.
