– Dunlop chosen as tyre partner for Le Mans 24h and FIA World Endurance Championship
- ByKolles aiming to build on 2015 podium winning performances
The ByKolles Racing Team has today announced its switch to Dunlop tyres for the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship.
The team, which will race in the premier LMP1 category with their CLM P1/01 car are aiming to build on their 2015 run of five consecutive podium places in WEC this year.
Their switch to Dunlop tyres is an important step in achieving this ambition, according to Boris Bermes, Operations Director at ByKolles Racing: « We had a successful test session with Dunlop during the winter that convinced us to make the change. We have great experience in working with the Dunlop team in past years in both LMP2 and DTM and we are confident that we can build the same successful relationship in LMP1. »
The team will compete in the full FIA WEC season, including the Le Mans 24 hours.
