Our Project will not exist without its main characters – the competitors of the event. This year we understand the difficult situation and cannot stand aside. The interests of athletes are always our priority, and we consider it our direct responsibility to meet them.
A lot of work has been done over the past weeks in terms of the entry fees revision. We would like to present you the following exclusive conditions for 2022:
– Optimized and fixed entry fees in Russian rubles.
– The reduced fees period has been extended until May 1.
– The previously announced system of discounts is still valid.
In addition, we have expanded the 2022 edition with two new categories that will allow everyone to plunge into the world of motorsport and cross-country rallies.
‘Legend’ category. This is an opportunity to show and test the vehicles and to feel the spirit of rally adventure, starting every day with all the racing crews and overcoming the difficulties of the cross-country rally, participating in the race for regularity. What do you need to take part? A modern or historical car/truck that meets the minimum technical requirements. The older the car, the greater the advantage. A sports license and equipment are also required.
‘Following Peter the Great’ grand tour. It is held in honor of the 350th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Peter I. This is the taste of competition with reference to the regions of the country, to the history and culture of Russia. This is a real adventure, as well as a feeling of complete immersion in the world motorsport. The competitors will be trained in the basics of cross-country rallies and off-road driving, drive their own off-road vehicles along the most interesting rally route with obligatory marks at checkpoints, and will also live in bivouacs – real tent cities for several thousand people who travel with the racers. What do you need to participate? Technically serviceable four-wheel drive vehicle with sufficient power reserve and high ground clearance.
SILK WAY RALLY 2022
SILK WAY RALLY 2022 will take place from July 6 to 16, starting in Astrakhan and finishing in Moscow. The total distance of the route will be 4,380 kilometers, 2,800 kilometers of them will be competitive. ‘Gold of Kagan’ Baja, a round of the Russian Cross-Country Championship that will consist of two legs with start and finish in Astrakhan, will be held together with the SILK WAY RALLY 2022.
