The race for top honours in the 2018 FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup continues this weekend at the Hungarian Baja. Two days of rally action in forests and over undulating ground will determine who walks away with maximum points.
Polish driver Kuba Przygonski goes into the ninth stop of the 11-race season leading the World Cup rankings. Alongside co-driver Tom Colsoul of Belgium, the duo have picked up 237 points so far this season. Helping the pair climb to the top of the leaderboard have been memorable wins this year in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Italy.
Przygonski and Colsoul will be out to stretch their lead over World Cup rivals Vladimir Vasilyev of Russia (185 points) and Martin Prokop of the Czech Republic (174 points) in Hungary.

The action gets underway tonight with a short and sharp special stage of 12 kilometres. These results will determine the starting order for the first of Saturday’s timed stages, measuring 220 kilometres. The final stage will be also take place on Saturday, bringing the total distance raced in Hungary to 450 kilometres.
