La 6ème et dernière épreuve du Championnat de France des Sables a été une belle réussite pour Yamaha. Dans les deux épreuves phares du week-end sur la Côte d’Opale, Yamaha s’est imposé avec force.
Enduropale
Milko Potisek (Yamaha YZ450F-Yamaha Racing Yamalube) s’est enfin imposé à l’Enduropale du Touquet dimanche.
Le Français a offert au public un véritable récital devant une meute de près de 1 200 concurrents inscrits. Milko Potisek (Yamaha YZ450F-Yamaha Racing Yamalube) s’est rapidement porté aux commandes de l’épreuve et seuls Richard Fura puis le Britannique Nathan Watson furent en mesure de le détrôner pour la victoire. Milko Potisek (Yamaha YZ450F-Yamaha Racing Yamalube) en termine après 3h de course devant Watson, Camille Chapelière et le jeune Belge Daymond Martens (Yamaha YZ450F-Yamaha Racing Yamalube), le vainqueur de l’édition 2017.
Avec la 6ème place de Victor Brossier (Yamaha YZ450F-Yamaha Racing Yamalube), l’auteur du holeshot et les 9ème et 10ème places de Romain Dumontier (Yamaha YZ450F-Yamaha Racing) et du Britannique Jamie McCanney (Yamaha YZ450F-Outsider-Yamaha Racing Yamalube), Yamaha réalise un véritable hold-up avec 6 machines dans le top10.

Mieux encore sur quatre roues, Yamaha signe le doublé grâce à Jeremy Forestier (Yamaha YFZ450R-Yamaha Racing) s’est imposé avec force pour 34 petites secondes sur Antoine Cheurlin (Yamaha YFZ450R-Yamaha Racing) et 3 minutes sur Florian Mangeot. Après la belle leçon du Dakar 2018, Yamaha place 15 YFZ450R dans le top20 !
Au Championnat final, Jeremy Forestier (Yamaha YFZ450R-Yamaha Racing) décroche le titre devant Jean-Marie Bernede (Yamaha YFZ450R-Yamaha Racing) et le Néerlandais Mike Vangrinsven.
