Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG has added another title to its Formula E success story: Subject to the provisional result of the 15th race of the season on Sunday evening in Tokyo, the Stuttgart-based sports car manufacturer can celebrate retaining the FIA Formula E Manufacturers’ World Championship title. Following last season’s Teams’ and Manufacturers’ World Championship triumphs, the title for the series’ most successful manufacturer remains in Weissach. Porsche’s two Formula E customer teams, Andretti Formula E and Cupra Kiro, contributed to the success by scoring valuable championship points for the brand. The Drivers’ and Teams’ World Championship titles will be decided at the season finale in London on 15 and 16 August.
