– Buggyra’s FACE OFF program continues with strong performances across GT Cup weekend
Buggyra ZM Racing driver Aliyyah Koloc made a standout guest appearance in the GT3 class at the GT Cuper Series this weekend at the team’s home circuit in Most, Czech Republic. Driving an Audi R8 LMS GT3 car for the FULLINRACE by INTERACTION team alongside experienced Czech racer Petr Fulín, the duo finished third overall and first in the GT3 class.
« In my experience, spontaneous decisions are the best, » said Fulín. « Aliyyah pleasantly surprised me with how well she performed in a completely unfamiliar car. The way she handled traffic during qualifying and the lap times she set left everyone in the team speechless. »
« It was an intense weekend, » Aliyyah added. « I had just a couple of hours to prepare for the GT3 in the simulator in our factory, which is only one hour’s drive away from Most. I was a little apprehensive at first, but it felt really good once I got started. The GT3 car is fast and precise, and my lap times were good right from the start. Having driven mainly GT4 cars until now, this was a great opportunity to understand the behavior of a GT3 car in race conditions. »
Round 3 of the FACE OFF program
The race in Most also formed part of Buggyra ZM Racing’s innovative FACE OFF program, which continues to provide competitive opportunities for both emerging and experienced drivers. The concept pairs a young driver with an experienced mentor in an AMG-Mercedes GT4 car, with a focus on performance, learning, and teamwork. In Most, the program delivered both results and excitement.
Adam Lacko and Miroslav Mikeš won both GT4 sprint races and the endurance race, bringing car #55 just two points behind the championship-leading #29 duo of Martin Hudec and Filip Nedoma. In the intra-team academy ranking, Mikeš leads with 83 points ahead of Nedoma with 59 points.
Martin Hudec also contributed to the team’s success with a calm, controlled drive to second in the sprint race, and the Hudec-Nedoma pairing finished second in the endurance event.
In total, Buggyra and its sister team Mičánek Motorsport collected 12 trophies in Most, demonstrating both the depth of talent in the FACE OFF program and the team’s competitive strength.
The weekend included a special highlight for fans: a live demonstration of the Dallara IR-05 IndyCar once driven by Tomáš Enge in the American series. Aliyyah Koloc presented the car during Thursday’s test day, alongside a day-long IndyCar Expo.
Buggyra ZM Racing will continue its FACE OFF program in the GT Cup series, with the next challenges already on the horizon.
