Another busy racing season for Aliyyah Koloc in 2025

Buggyra ZM Racing is pleased to announce that Aliyyah Koloc will continue to race in selected events of the FIA World Rally Raid Championship (W2RC) and the FIA Middle East Cup for Cross-Country Bajas in 2025. She will also continue in GT racing.

For the last three seasons, the 20-year-old Dubai-born racer has combined GT circuit racing with off-road rallies, a somewhat unusual and unique combination, with impressive results. With her teammates David Vrsecky and Adam Lacko, she won the 2024 European 24-Hour Series in the GT4 class, and she has just finished the 2025 Dakar as the fastest woman in the top category Ultimate in 35th position, to name but two of her results.

A busy year of off-road rallying ahead
After the Dakar Rally in January, Aliyyah’s race schedule this year will continue with a race of the FIA World Rally Raid Championship, the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge, later this month. This will be followed by the Jordan Baja in April as part of the FIA Middle East Cup for Cross-Country Bajas, and the iconic Taklimakan Rally in China in May. During the summer months, the focus will shift to GT racing before, in October, the team will get back into rally raids with the Rally du Maroc, another event of the FIA World Rally Raid Championship. In preparation for the 2026 Dakar Rally, the highlight of the season for Aliyyah and her team, she will participate in two more rallies of the FIA Middle East Cup in Qatar and Dubai in November.

« My race season is already in full swing with the two-week Dakar Rally behind us. As always, it is a tough but very rewarding start to the year. In the meantime, I got a little bit of a breather that I spent looking after myself, both physically and mentally. The year ahead will be busy, but I am looking forward to getting more driving experience under my belt. It will also be interesting to tackle a rally in China for the first time, » said Aliyyah Koloc.

As in the previous two years, Aliyyah will be navigated by experienced French co-driver Sébastien Delaunay.
Buggyra ZM Racing Team Principal Martin Koloc said: « For 2025, one focus of our motorsport commitment will be firmly on rally raids with the target of giving Aliyyah the best car possible and making sure she becomes an even more accomplished driver. She has improved incredibly over the last year, not just as a driver but also as a team leader. For the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge, she will race in a turbo-charged REVO T1+ for the first time, so that will be a new experience for her, but something absolutely essential as she now has the necessary speed and mindset for a faster car. »
In parallel with the focus on rally raids, Buggyra ZM Racing will continue during the summer to race in GT events. Further details will be announced in due course.

Buggyra Academy Program for Youngsters
To round up its 2025 campaign, Buggyra will also continue its successful Academy program, where young racers and other motorsport professionals are groomed for successful motorsport careers through structures in France, Dubai, and China. An innovative program is currently being finalized.
